What do you charge for “regular” firearm transfers?

We charge $20 for the paperwork, and $10 for the background check. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation receives the $10 fee.

Additional firearms ON THE SAME BACKGROUND CHECK / AT THE SAME TIME:
$10 each additional LONG GUN or RECEIVER
$15 each additional PISTOL (there is extra paperwork involved in the transfer of 2 or more pistols including mailing forms to the ATF, local law enforcement, etc.)

What do I need to bring with me?

Bring your Driver’s license or State ID card and the appropriate transfer fee. We do accept credit or debit with a 3% surcharge. If you are buying a used firearm we ask that you bring a child safety lock with you. By law all transferred firearms must leave the building with a child lock. Most used firearms do not include them.

The address that the state has on record must match your driver’s license and match your CURRENT ADDRESS. If your license doesn’t match your current address, you must bring proof of residency from a government agency such as a hunting license, tax bill, vehicle registration, etc.

What do I need for an NFA transfer and what do you charge?

NFA purchases and transfers (silencers, short barrel rifles and shotguns, etc) are more complex depending on whether or not you are purchasing as an individual, a trust, or a corporate entity. There is not a single, short answer. Please give us a call at 423-553-7722 or drop by and we can discuss your options and pricing (if any). We do not charge for the initial consultation with you about your NFA transfer and your options.

You’re a furniture store! Are you LEGIT?

Yes, we are a furniture store that is also licensed by the Federal Government to buy, sell and transfer firearms. We also have the required licensing to buy, sell and transfer Class 3 or “NFA” items. Our licenses are available for inspection during normal store hours Tuesday-Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
